Ini bukanlah pendapatku tapi ini adalah sebuah judul buku yang keluar di akhir tahun 2007. Buku ini memaparkan kondisi Bangsa Indonesia yang sangat memprihatinkan. Dari kondisi inilahlah maka judul buku "jadi kuli di negara sendiri" jadi pas banget.
Dalam buku ini Imam Taufik ( pengarang buku ) memaparkan sangat jelas gimana kondisi bangsa Indonesia. Dimulai dari karakteristik manusia, pendidikan, ekonomi, wiraswasta, politik, budaya dan teknologi. Jadi dengan kata lain dalam buku ini kita dapat melihat apa sih yang ada di sekitar kita ( Indonesia ) dari berbagai aspek yang ternyata sangatlah menyedihkan.
Jadi ini buku sangat gue rekomendasi untuk dibaca walaupun tidak menunjukan bagaimana hal-nya merubah Indonesia, setidaknya dalam buku ini telah ditunjukan bagaimana keadaan Negara ini yang membuat kita (generasi muda) berpikir bagaimana caranya untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini dan mengangkat bangsa ini agar sejajar dengan bangsa lain di dunia.
